Kevin Jenkins Memorial Lecture Series
College of the Canyons
Three posters in a continuing series. Promotional posters and social graphics created to promote the Kevin Jenkins Lecture Series at College of the Canyons, an open access California Community College. California local designers are invited to tell their stories, share their work and give advice. Each poster features artifactual illustrations inspired by the speakers story and work. The series is named after Kevin Jenkins, a founding faculty member of the Graphic and Multimedia Design Program at the College.
It has been an honor to invite designers that I find prolific, inspirational, ground-breaking and at the forefront of a revolutionary way of teaching, thinking about, and making visual communication. For each guest I produce a visual biography poster based on a brief questionnaire. The goal of the poster is to celebrate our guest and to make the spectrum of identity, interests, and experiences each person contains visible.
